Minority Serving Institution Partnership Program

The Minority Serving Institution Partnership Program (MSIPP) builds and strengthens educational capacities, prepares students through strategic collaborations, and supports a career workforce pathway between Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) and the NNSA National Security Enterprise (NSE)

This alignment is met through the following objectives:

• Strengthen and expand Institutes of Higher Education educational and/or research capacity in NNSA mission areas of interest.
• Foster collaborations and partnerships between Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) and the NSE. 
• Increase the number of students seeking STEM-focused who graduate with STEM degrees relevant to NNSA mission areas.
• Increase the number of graduates and post-doctoral students hired into the NSE’s technical and scientific workforce.
